Crackpot Kitchen
Location: Grace Bay
Ambiance: casual, friendly roadside restaurant with all the cool friendly vibes of a food truck but in an open air setting that is so much more than just a food truck - full bar, TVs, lots of seating, big kitchen - think of it as the roadside, more local version of Cocovan plus lively local music
Best Bet for Live Music: Live band on Friday nights, 7pm onwards, plus most Saturdays for brunch. Also hosts the Sound Clash and other local music events
Recent Lineup: A+ Band (Fri evening and some Saturday brunches)
Food & Drink: an impressive selection of local dishes, including more casual bar food (conch done a few ways, empanadas, fish or crab burgers, shrimp or shark tacos, …) to generous main meals (whole grilled snapper, snapper curry, ribs, jerk Cornish hen, oxtail ...) which include two sides (try the yummy mac and cheese!). Chef Nik does not disappoint. (menu)
Happy Hour: Two for one prices and happy hour specials on Fridays – Tuesdays from 5 - 7pm and on Wednesdays from 5 - 9pm
Insider Tip #1: do not judge this place from the road, you don’t really get the vibe until you are inside, go in you will not regret it!
Such an unexpected gem in the evening, especially when live music is playing on Friday nights. Upbeat tunes by the A+ Band, a nice breeze, and good lighting - plus a locally inspired menu and friendly bartenders - gives this roadside spot a surprisingly tropical atmosphere with a great local feel. Also worth checking out on some Saturdays when they host a lively, local brunch with music
“This was the best food we have had on the island and we have eaten at all the big hit places here. The recipes are super flavourful, the food is cooked to absolute perfection and the vibe is terrific. Friendly service too. Don’t let the roadside setting turn you off (it almost turned us off). I’m so glad we came here anyway!”

“Best place on the island, we have tried. Here for 4 days enjoyed this vibe on Friday and I must say we tried a few items. The ribs, lamb chop, pork chop, shark rolls, mashed potatoes, veggies, rice and beans, salad. The 1942 , the rum punch, jerk chicken. There is more , so much more on the menu. Chef Nix and the entire staff were very welcoming and made us not feel like visitors. The vibe is awesome. Games: Jenga , corn hole, connect 4 , good music and dancing. And our favorite was the manager ........😘if you get a chance please visit this spot. You will not be disappointed.”
