David ‘Jack’ Lightbourne made his name known with his debut single ‘Kick, Drop and Wine’ which was a local hit in his native Turks and Caicos islands. He recently released ‘Closah’ which is streaming globally and performed it live at the the Barclay Center in NYC during the 5th annual “Angela Yee Day” in August 2023.
Jack is also actively involved in social issues in the TCI including launching the non-profit Fighting Fighting Crime with Music. The NPO’s objective is to use music as a platform to bridge the gap between community residents, law enforcement, community leaders, businesses and other key stakeholders. As part of these efforts, Jack & Stunna P released ‘1 Life’, a single that speaks to the young men and women of the TCI about the importance of taking full advantage of this one opportunity we have, because we only live once.
