Albernika Williams is a local soca artist in the Turks and Caicos. She released her first song titled "Gemma" under the stage name Mama Nikz (as she was affectionally called by friends and family members). “Gemma” the song took off and started a wave of listeners singing the song "Gemma, Gemma" when seeing her. Not to long after this her stage name changed to Gemma. She has gone on to release 3 more originals - Wine Down, Touch Me and Brace It - and is actively working on new songs.
As TCI’s SOCA QUEEN, Gemma can be found playing most of the biggest festivals and concerts all around the Turks and Caicos Islands, from in Da Bush to the GT Link Up Weekend! When there is a lineup of TCI’s best artists expect to see her name!!
