Location: The Bight (near Grace Bay)

Ambiance: Casual, laid-back island feel – with a very chilled out, family friendly atmosphere for lunch and early dinner. The vibe here changes by day of the week and time of day. Some evenings remain fairly low key and others get quite lively, especially on Thursdays as it is located next to the Island Fish Fry and has in the past hosted an after party with a DJ

Best Bet for Live Music: Tuesday and Saturday evenings from 6:00 to 9:00pm, DJ often on Thursday after the fish fry

Recent Lineup: Apple Astwood (Tues), Kaz Hall (Sat)

Food & Drink: Local Caribbean menu serving locally sourced fish as well as some of the best jerk on the island. Entrees include two local sides or for smaller meals, check out their sandwiches, burgers, and tacos (beef, fish, conch, chicken). Vegan choices also available (menu)

Happy Hour: TBD

Insider Tip #1: order the coconut crusted or blackened grouper or one of their many grouper (or snapper) variations - it is called Mr. Grouper’s for a good reason!

Insider Tip #2: check out their homemade hot sauce - available on the table, it is delicious!

Insider Tip #3: 8 min walk off of Grace Bay beach (from Sibonne’s) or a 5 min drive from central Grace Bay. It is okay to walk here during the day but please think twice before walking here at night as the road is dark – easy enough to catch a taxi

Well-known local gem very close to Grace Bay serving some of the best Caribbean food on the island. Laid back spot for lunch or early evening that gets lively on the weekends, especially Thursdays as it is next to the grounds for the very busy Island Fish Fry. Go on Tuesday evenings to listen to Apple Astwood or Saturday evenings to enjoy music by Kaz Hall.

Great food, lively atmosphere. Great band, great food. Had been told that service could be slow, but we were there on a Saturday night and service was both timely and friendly. I had coconut crusted grouper (the most popular choice according to our server), friends had the blackened grouper. All were good.”

Best grouper and amazing live musician. We have been to T&C 4 times and typically try to make it to Mr. Groupers. Like most places in Turks that are local it has become bigger over the years. Most don’t sacrifice quality. In Mr Groupers regard, they have actually improved. The food is still the best grouper I’ve had but the live entertainment was over the top.”

“This used to be the best kept secret on the island, but not anymore and rightfully so. It is not fancy but has a nice island feel to it. They have bar and outdoor seating. We enjoy it so much we went twice over 7 nights. One of the nights we went was on a Thursday. They had a DJ spinning a mix of old and new tunes. He was very good.”
