Location: Chalk Sound (across the street from Sapodilla Bay Beach)

Ambiance: casual dining experience with stellar views over Chalk Sound and if you want (esp for those with kids) a pool area to hang at during lunch hours

Best Bet for Live Music: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Monday evenings from 6 to 9pm (in the winter) and from 6:30 pm in the summer

Recent Lineup: Elroy Simmons (Thur / Fri), Gordon Lightbourne (Sat / Mon)

Food & Drink: a very extensive menu with quite a few gems. Las Brisas calls it a “Mediterranean cuisine with a Caribbean splash”. Too many dishes to name but there is something for everyone here (menu)

Happy Hour: TBD

Insider Tip #1: forget the menu, just order the coconut crusted snapper tacos - you will start planning your next visit after the first bite - perhaps the best fish tacos in the TCI!

Insider Tip #2: its gorgeous position perched over Chalk Sound does mean it can be very breezy on a windy day on the south side - they will pull down the shades to help out but definitely check the weather, you cannot beat the tables out on the picturesque gazebo on a calm day (get there early to score one of these or call for reservations)

Insider Tip #3: combine your visit with a trip on their pontoon boat around Chalk Sound (snorkeling trips and sunset cruises available) - be sure to call ahead for availability and reservations. Kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards also available for rent - call (649) 946-5306 to book

Perched in an enviable position over Chalk Sound, the views from Las Brisas always impress. Go for dinner at sunset to enjoy the colors and relaxing music several nights of the week. For music, think smooth jazz, soft rock, or chilled out reggae classics - creating a nice island vibe without taking over your dinner table conversation.

Delicious Food with Breathtaking Views. Just ate here tonight with our family of six and by far, this place was our favorite dinner spot of the week. Ramon was our waiter who gave us exceptional service for the evening. Views are spectacular and watching the sunset was an experience in itself. Great dinner music played by a talented musician added to the ambiance.”

“Las Brisas - A must see for a romantic dining experience. This was the most breath taking view of the island we had the whole week we spent on the island. The food was delicious, the service was great, the music was fun and enjoyed after dinner. Our friends even had the staff surprise us with cake and a firework to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We would definitely make this a stop in the future. If you want a picturesque, romantic dinner, this is a must do! Felt like I was dining at a mansion. A+!”

“Stunning. Stunning. Everything from the location in the gazebo with the constant breeze, to the food which melted in your mouth, the atmosphere with live music playing, and especially our server Rubin. We could not have had a better experience elsewhere. Thank you Las Brisas.”

“A Must Visit Destination. This is a full service spot for a day, kayaks/SUP rentals, pool, boat tours of the sound, sundries shop, full bar and restaurant...and away from the tourist frenzy of Grace Bay. Wanna feel more local, Get Here!!”

“The restaurant itself is cool. There is a pool Centre Stage on the main floor lounge chairs and a poolside bar. The main floor restaurant area had lots of tables and a few couches with a coffee table for a relaxed atmosphere. All the main floor seating is outdoors/open concept. However, on the day I was there, a huge rainstorm hit. The rain could not possibly have fallen any harder. rain was even blowing sideways. However, the management and staff were prepared. There is a clear plastic sheet that kept virtually all of the spray out. I was sitting at a table and was not significantly wet. I actually loved being able to experience the storm like that while still being able to eat and drink outside. The staff even brought my breakfast over under cover so it would stay warm and rain-free.”
